After studying the accordion, the cello and the piano Pierre-Yves opted for the double bass at the Brest conservatory. He continued his studies in Paris and performed in various symphonic, chamber music and jazz orchestras. His journey as a bassist, marked by a great stylistic openness and a pronounced taste for sound explorations, was then structured around significant collaborations.
